States United has launched it’s newest project, BackFire Trump! You, yes you, can sign up at to tweet at the President every single time an American dies from gun violence. If that’s too much for you (and isn’t it?!) you can also choose to tweet daily or weekly.

It is a known fact that every gun in the hands of a child must first pass through the hands of an adult. Here in America, one out of three homes with children has a gun, many kept unlocked or loaded. Every year thousands of kids are killed and injured as a result through homicides, suicides, and unintentional shootings.

With our PSA “Every Three Hours,” we’re highlighting the impact of gun violence on kids, parents, and the medical community to encourage the frank conversations about guns that can save kids lives.

States United To Prevent Gun Violence introduces “Carrier Or Killer,” the game that gives players seconds to make a life-or-death decision.

We created this game in an effort to demonstrate the real-life consequences of corporate gun lobby measures currently moving through Congress, such as Federally Mandated Concealed Carry. FMCC would further normalize the carrying of deadly weapons in our public spaces and force to states recognize permits for hidden, loaded guns from all fifty states.

More guns in public will only create more confusion among emergency first responders, law enforcement, and bystanders who are forced to decide what the true intentions of gun holders are, and then act. Are these people carrying in the name of “self-defense,” or do they want to kill? How can anyone tell the difference?

Click here to play the game and then contact your representatives to demand they act to defeat Federally Mandated Concealed Carry.

We all know that children are naturally curious. And we also know that guns are dangerous, especially when they aren’t stored as safely as possible. And our hearts breaks when we hear the stories about families devastated by loaded, unsecured guns that result in unintentional child shootings.

Every week in this country, one child under the age of 14 dies from an unintentional shooting. But together, we can prevent these senseless tragedies.

With the launch of our new PSA “Toys,” we wanted to share with you a powerful tool to raise awareness — and normalize the common-sense safety steps that can save our children’s lives.

Unintentional shootings can be and should be prevented. Click here to sign the pledge and share with friends and loved ones.

The tragic fact is that 118 Americans die from suicide every day — and most suicides are preventable.

And means matter when it comes to suicide. Every study that has examined the issue to date has found that within the U.S., access to firearms is associated with increased suicide risk.

You can make a difference watch this powerful PSA and share to raise awareness and save lives.

Many Americans glorify guns. Yet gun deaths are gruesome, gun wounds especially from assault weapons are horrifying, gun injuries can mean a lifetime of disability. To challenge how Americans look at guns, we made a movie showing real gun violence. Check out what happens next. Then join the fight for realistic gun laws

States United To Prevent Gun Violence opens a “gun store” in NYC as a hidden camera social experiment to debunk safety myths. Every gun has a history. Let’s not repeat it.
